VERYAN INDOOR BOWLS CLUB TASTER DAYS

​

Veryan is one of five Indoor Bowling Clubs in Cornwall. The Club is tucked away in Central Cornwall, on the eastern edge of the County on the Roseland Peninsula. Accessibility is not difficult on the A3078 to St Mawes. On leaving that road just after the Texaco Service Station and Spar Shop at Bessy Beneath, it is but a short 4 mile trip on a two lane road to the Bowls Club just through Veryan village.

 

The Veryan Club is growing in a variety of ways. For Club Members we offer a range of competitive bowling activity :-

• Organised Social Bowling activity for interested and new bowlers

• Friendly Games – Men’s , Ladies & Mixed with County Organisations within Cornwall & visiting Clubs & Groups

• A programme of weekly bowling with Ladies, Mens, Mixed & Open Leagues & Club Competitions

• Representative Team Bowling against the other Clubs in Cornwall

Men – Inter Club League, County Trophy, Bergen Shield & Top Team

Ladies – Inter Club League, Top Team & Caradon Cup

On Sunday, 28th September & Sunday, 5th October, Veryan is holding Taster Days from 10am – 4pm

We extend a warm invitation to people who may be interested – Former Members, Outdoor Bowlers who may like to try Indoor Bowls & people who have never played who might like to try a Fun activity which offers light & healthy exercise.

 

Bring your own equipment if you have it, but if not, we can provide all that you need to try. Enjoy the activity on the bowling carpet & have a chat over light refreshments.
