The Cornwall County Indoor Bowls Association County Finals were held over the weekend of 28th and 29th March at Bodmin Indoor Bowls Club.

 

The main event saw a repeat of the previous year's final as Gary Frost gained the advantage over Ian Drew to retain his title.

 

The Pairs went to Newquay's Darren Mudge and that man Gary Frost again with a good win against John Foulds and Nigel Ashwin of Veryan.

 

The Mixed Pairs went to Bodmin's established pairing of Kath and Mervyn Emment over clubmates John Munns and Kris Shone.

 

The Triples event was once again a win  for Newquay's Darren Mudge, Gary Frost, and Tim Phillips winning the title for the fourth consecutive time over the Carnmoggas trio of Ryan Drew, Mike Austin, and David Grose. Once again there was an all Bodmin final in the mixed triples, but with a reversal of last year's result as Elysia Hawke with Pete and Lewis Thomas beat the trio of Karen and Mervyn Emment with Steve Ford.

 

The rinks trophy went to the home Bodmin team of Steve Ford, Pete and Lewis Thomas and Mervyn Emment over the family Drew (Ryan, David, and Ian) with David Grose. A good weekend for all the Bodmin players.
